June Membership Meeting

The June Membership meeting on June 15th at 7:00PM will feature talks by the incentive members who visited the Bone Valley Fossil Farm. They will also show us what they found. There will also be: Door prizes, Silent Auction and Snacks. Guests are welcome.
Bone Valley Fossil Farm
The Bone Valley Fossil farm is located just off US-17 in Bowling Green, Florida, 33834 about a 3 hour drive. They offer Premium “wet” hunting (on dry land but using a hose to screen the fossils from the matrix. The primary find is sharks teeth including megalodon teeth. Also found are many other ice-age fossils such as mammoth, aligator and more.

The Rockhound Challenge Prize is a Coconut geode from Las Choyas, Mexico which is shown on the left
