September Membership Meeting

The September Membership Meeting will feature Clay Hecocks club member and owner of Underground Treasures. Clay will discuss:
The Denver Show and the mineral Calcite.
Clay says: I will give a quick recap of the Denver Show (I’ll be at the Denver show from 9/8 – 9/13) and then launch into a presentation on the mineral Calcite. “I will be bringing a few dozen specimens of Calcite for all to see in person a sampling of the multitude of crystal shapes, colors and formations that make Calcite such a popular and collectable mineral.”
Note: The Denver Gem and Mineral Show goes for 10 days from Sep. 8-17, has 600,000
square feet of sellers and admission is free. —Also— Calcite, the most stable polymorph of Calcium Carbonate comes in many forms and colors
