During the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous, dinosaurs dominated on land while the the skies above were ruled by pterosaurs.
The oceans too were home to a variety of reptiles. Many species were among the largest reptiles to ever exist on our planet.
What were these families of reptiles, how did they survive, and ultimately, why did they disappear?
